I'm seriously propping my eyelids open for this post. Please don't get me wrong- I am so thankful to all of you for the absolutely crazy amount of orders we've had this week. I'm just hoping for a little sleep this weekend. But my little boy is just hoping someone will play tractors with him. And that someone is usually me, unless of course his cousin, Bryce, is around and then he doesn't even care if I'm there. Sorry about the rambling. I just read that and now I'm convinced I am totally sleep deprived.
Anyway, I love Fridays. And this Friday our Day #10 project is a custom printed label you can embellish and frame.
Ours is pretty simple, but I know you can be creative and come up with your own unique design. Here are some suggestions:
- Add colorful buttons all the way around the border
- Sew strips of fabric to the top and bottom of the label
- Use the label on a pillow or kitchen towel
You can get either the kit (which includes the background and applique fabric as shown) or just the label. They come in either black lettering or red/green lettering:
The star shape and tree trunk are just faintly printed on the label for a placement guide for the applique. If you feel real ambitious, you could also embroider it.
Just to let you know, a popular project similair to this we had a couple of years ago is still available in our store. This was one of my favorite 12 Days of Christmas projects we have ever done:
I hope everyone has a great weekend! I know I will be a little more energetic on Monday as we resume our 12 Days of Christmas. Only two more to go!
