We love The Fourth of July around here. Like a whole lot. So when we had the chance to design a fabric around our favorite holiday, we couldn’t resist. Say hello to our newest collection, Freedom.
The color palette celebrates red, white and blue, of course, but we added black and khaki for fun. Those two colors also gives the collection a broader range of use. Of course you can make a patriotic red, white and blue quilt, but you can also make something more subtle that you can use everyday. And to all our friends outside the USA- no worries! There is plenty in this collection you can love- not every piece screams USA!

I’m loving this red and denim print together. We wanted a print that reminded us of our favorite worn out jeans. What’s more American than blue jeans? Oh- and that bandana print- that’s definitely a favorite!
Here is the black. I’m surprised, but I think it might be my favorite colorway. It really is striking in person.
The bottom print is the denim in a charcoal black. We can’t wait to use it for backgrounds! Here is another favorite print. Yes, we have your state in there!

You can’t even think about designing something American without using red, right?

Gingham. I know. We use it a lot. Because we love it a lot.
The khaki mixes well with all of the colorways. I especially like it with black.
And here is my go to color. Navy.
We can’t wait to show you what we are doing with this collection. Because it’s summer, we are definitely in the mood to make things with Freedom. The fabric won’t be in stores until November- which will give you plenty of time to sew before next summer arrives! And for those of you who have asked, yes, we will definitely have a Project Sweetwater box with Freedom. And- wait till you see the embroidery quilt. It may be my favorite yet. It will just take us some time to figure out the details. We will let you know when the pre-order period will be for everything.
