Even though we just announced our 2017 Christmas quilt from our new Hometown Christmas Edition fabric, we still get requests for the 2016 quilt that used our Cookie Exchange fabric. If you can’t remember what it looks like, here it is:
Each embroidery block could be customized with a name:
Or your blocks could have Christmas sayings:
We absolutely love this quilt and it will be cherished for years to come. Some of you missed out last year and we didn’t offer it after the cut off date. Because we have so many requests, we decided to bring it back. But……only for a week! Here’s the deal:
Instead of the Cookie Exchange fabric, the new quilt kit will come in Hometown Christmas!
The main difference is that the new quilt will have black instead of gray, which was in The Cookie Exchange. Here is a digital version of the quilt in Hometown Christmas.
I have to admit that last year I spent the entire Spring creating a zillion (well it felt like a zillion) custom blocks. I swore I would never do that again. But I feel bad every time I say no to a customer who wants the blocks. So here’s the compromise. You will be able to order the blocks, fabric and/or pattern for one week only! When you order the blocks, you will be able to choose if you want the fabric or not. We will be shipping the blocks (hopefully) in the next few weeks. We hope to have them finished by mid- March. If you choose to order the fabric, that will ship in June when we get Hometown Christmas.
So you have one week! I can promise that we won’t offer this kit again in 2017. And maybe not even 2018- we will just have to see what next year brings!
You can find the quilt kit here.
And since it is February 14th, here is a little First Crush goodness! This was from our Project Sweetwaer- First Crush box from last year.
Of course it isn’t available any longer, but it’s fun to take a look back! Happy Valentine’s Day to all of you!
