Boy it is hard to get back to work. With all the excitement of the holidays, it is hard to think about the million things that need to be done in real life. The last couple of days I have definitely been easing back into it. I'll get there. But I'm definitely not back to the normal routine. But… we are looking ahead to several new projects in the works. I will tell you about the first one today.
A few months back, we were invited to be a part of a fabulous new book. Sew Red features projects from many designers in the quilting/sewing industry and promotes women's heart health. It will be an absolutely beautiful book and will be available in a couple of months (we will let you know for sure when).
When we submitted our project, all we needed to do is make sure it was red. Everything in the book is red! That was simple, because you all know that we have plenty of red, as it is our featured color in Mama Said Sew. Here is a sneak peek at our project.

There will be a blog hop of all the designers in February- I will let you know all the details as soon as I get them.
Speaking of red- and hearts- that is exactly the theme of January's Label Crew. We are already thinking about Valentine's day with this heart mug mat:
You might want to use it as a mug rug, but I like it under a dessert plate- I think it fits perfectly!

Have a great weekend, and a safe and happy New Year!
