Love Notes

We have a new Project Sweetwater box!  This one is called “Love Notes’ and it’s just in time for Valentine’s Day.  This box is a little different.  Since we don’t have a new Valentine’s Day fabric collection, we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to feature some beautiful wool.  The wool comes from one of our favorite companies, and fellow Moda fabric designer, Primitive Gatherings.  It is hand dyed and quite a process to make it this beautiful.  We used most of the sample wool we had, so here are just a few scraps of the wool that will be included in the box.

The box includes a 10 piece charm pack.  The beauty of the pack is that each is different.  They will all be the beautiful red, but will vary in the background design.  Some patterns are very subtle, and some are more bold (as the chevron on top of the stack).  I love just looking at all of them!

My favorite project in the box uses the wool.  It was perfect for these mini quilts.

This might be the most exciting part of the box.  See the cute clipboard that displays the mini quilt perfectly?  Yes. We finally have those and it will be included in the Love Notes box!  Keep in mind that it comes as a kit.  That way you can customize it any way you wish.  The board comes unfinished you can paint, stain or just leave it natural.  We just white washed the sample board with a little diluted white paint.  You then will need to simply screw the clip in.  Trust me.  It’s not hard.  If I can do it, you can do it!

I know, I know, I know.  The next question is- can they be ordered separately from the box?  The answer is yes.  But you will have to wait a couple of weeks.  This first batch is going in the boxes.  After we get that taken care of, we will be offering them for sale separately.  Okay, back to the box.

Here is a perfect Valentine’s gift.  Who could resist a batch of fresh baked sugar cookies packaged in this cute bag.  Unfortunately, we don’t have any cookies for the photo, but you get the idea.  The box even includes a cute heart cookie cutter.

The photo of this pillow doesn’t do it justice.  I love this pillow- it looks way cuter in my house than it does in the photo.  It was super easy and a great project if you need something quick.

We have included the patterns for a cute needle book and a simple pincushion.

You will also receive our simple Valentine word label sheet.  We love them on the mini quilts, but you can use them anywhere.

We are also including this sweet little charm.  All you need to do is slip the included ribbon through the opening!
