We are ready to show you some of the fun things we have been doing with our two new fabric collections, Snowkissed and Late October.
First up is Round & Round. This one is from Snowkissed. If you are looking to make a large Christmas quilt, check this one out. We love Round & Round because even though it’s a Christmas quilt, it’s also a quilt that can be left out for the entire season- even after Christmas.
The circles in the quilting is absolutely perfect for this quilt!
The next quilt from Snowkissed will need a little imagination. We aren’t quilt finished with it yet. We call it Rooftop. We adapted it from a mini quilt that was super popular in our Project Sweetwater boxes. It’s all about houses. This is a closeup of the mini quilt from the box.
Now you will have to imagine it in Snowkissed fabric. Here is the digital version:
We can’t wait to show the finished quilt! It’s going to be soooo cute.
Here is a quilt from Late October. It’s my favorite. A little background of this quilt: my mom was deep into Pinterest one day and she found a photo of the most beautiful antique quilt. The background was different shades of creams- some of it almost looked tea dyed. It featured the tiniest black crosses. When I say tiny, I mean really tiny. The pieced crosses looked as though they were about 1″ x 1″. Here’s the most amazing part. It was all hand stitched. Wow. I’m not sure how old it was, but someone took a jaw dropping amount of time creating that beauty. The sad part? We all looked at and fawned over the quilt on Pinterest but my mom forgot to actually save the pin. And now we can’t find it to show you our inspiration.
This quilt is our take on that amazing inspiration. It’s not hand stitched or hand quilted, but it is still pretty cool. My sister, my mom and I are in a little bit of “silent” dispute on who gets to take this one home. We all love it. It may be we just have to take turns. After all, this quilt is perfect for any season. We call it Hush. I would also absolutely love it in a nursery.
As always, we are offering preorders on our quilt kits. You can find them here.
We are working on more projects and even a special Halloween box with these collections. Can’t wait to show you!
