Welcome to our day of Moda's "Size Matters" blog hop. When we first heard the theme of this event, we thought about how size matters in our lives. We came up with a few things, but nothing about size mattered more to us then hair in the 80s (and early 90s).
Not only did it take us between 1-2 hours to do our hair, my sister and I bought hairspray by the case. You need a whole lot of that to make it big. My sister was way luckier than me, however. She has the thickest head of hair- perfect for acheiving the biggest hair possible. I dug up a picture of her (if I'm doing the blog, I get to choose!).
Ok, back to quilting. Our take on "size matters" is this quilt. We used our block(the friendship star) and made 4 different sizes.
If you would like the pattern for the block, click here
The quilt was made from our Road 15 collection. If you aren't familair with this collection, here is a sample:
If your would like to win a Jelly Roll of Road 15, please leave a comment about how size matters in your life- could be anything from the size of your family to the size of your shoes or even the size of your hair! We will choose a winner on September 16, along with all the Moda designers.
We are also having a special on Road 15 and Boo Crew fat quarters in our shop. And the bigger the size of your fat quarter stack, the more you save!
