It has been a whole week since we blogged. Oops. Sorry. But it has been a very productive week. Last Thursday I went home a little frustrated and a bit lost about designing our next fabric collection. What a difference a week makes. We just finished up and and we are getting ready to send it to Moda. I can't give you any peeks but I will say we are very happy with it. It is our collection for next spring (2012) and it is well, very "springy" (not sure that is a word, but you get the idea). Those collections are always my favorite. Happy, warm and summer-like. Can't wait.
But back to Hometown. We have been super busy getting ready for Quilt Market in May. The binding is all that is left on 3 of our quilts. I thought I would give you a little glimpse of them. I love, love, love the quilting on these.
This one is my favorite. When I get a little stressed or the slightest bit unhappy, I just look at these circles and smile.
We plan on taking photos of the quilts in one our favorite hometowns, Fort Collins. It isn't really our hometown, but since Susan and I went to college there, we claim it. Besides, it really is much prettier than Fort Morgan- and Old Town Fort Collins will make a great backdrop for the quilts.
We can show you our next Label Crew project. It is a sewing organizer that allows you to keep all your necessities in place- and it is great to travel with.
Simply open it up and find pockets to hold all your goodies.

Okay, we can breath now. The fabric is designed, our quilts for Market are almost done and it's snowing outside. Yes snowing. Not too happy about that, but 2 out of 3 isn't bad. Oh, and we have so much planned for Hometown – quilts and other things, too!. We will start letting you in on it next week! See you then.
