You all know Pat Sloan – the voice of quilting! She contacted us awhile back to be a guest on American Patchwordk and Quilting Radio and we were so excited we said YES! Now that the day is here I have a pit in the bottom of my stomach with nerves. I just hope I don't say something stupid!! Anyway we were very flattered that she asked us and yes today is the day. I was a 4-H kid and really learned alot from it. Then when my children were 4-H age they also participated. It just seems to me that the fair and 4-H go hand in hand. So I really enjoy the young kids projects and all the creativity that I see in young people. Loved reading all the different designers takes on the fair. Each brought back many memories. Love your towel project. Thanks for the opportunity to win.

My father was an ag major at Penn State many years ago and they had to show an animal each year. One year was pigs. His was doing well while it was being shown, until it fainted! Pigs have problems with heat. LOL!!!

I love the carrot cake competition at our fair… entries come from adults and lots of school children.. there are dozens of entries which is wonderful for a small country town.
